With roots tracing back to the Dominican Republic, Alby is a seasoned medical professional whose career has evolved into a testament of dedication and excellence in clinical research and healthcare. A General Practitioner by training, Alby discovered a passion for research during the preparation for medical boards in 2007, ultimately choosing to pivot into a career dedicated to advancing medical knowledge.

Her illustrious career began at Columbia University in New York City, where pivotal contributions were made in Behavioral Cardiovascular Health and Maternal Fetal Medicine. This laid the foundation for subsequent roles, including serving as the Associate Director for an insurance plan in the culturally rich Bronx, focusing on the intersection of healthcare accessibility and patient needs and diversity.

Venturing into the vast landscape of Texas, Alby entered the industry of clinical trials, leaving an indelible mark in areas such as diabetes, dermatology, and psychiatry. She then served as Director of Business Development in Psychiatry, becoming a bridge between medical expertise and innovative solutions. Currently positioned as the Clinical Research Quality and Training Manager in the field of medical devices, specializing in spinal surgery and neuro pain stimulators, she continues to uphold the highest standards of research, quality, and patient safety.

Beyond the confines of the professional arena, Alby is a practitioner of the healing arts and finds fulfillment in uniting couples through marriage ceremonies. As a devoted mother of two sons and a caring guardian to two feline companions, she cherishes moments of tranquility in nature, the calming embrace of the beach, the elegance of birds, and the warmth of human connections. Her journey reflects not only a commitment to healthcare and research but also a profound impact on the lives of those seeking relief and improvement. Alby is one of resilience, expertise, and an enduring dedication to the betterment of healthcare and society at large.

CONTRACT RESEARCH ORGANIZATION MANAGER

Robin Keswani has been conducting clinical research since 2020. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Sciences in 2018, both from the University of Arizona. She began her research career in Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD). While a team leads at PPD, she managed first in human, ascending dose, and bioavailability trials.

Robin joined Research Source in 2022, where she manages multiple clinical trials at sites across the Nation. It remains her focus to enhance her understanding of the trial outcomes and extend discoveries through publications.   

Robin is devoted to helping make innovations designed to improve lives accessible to all. Outside of work, she enjoys cultivating and propagating plants, yoga, and traveling. She spends as much time as possible on the lake and with her family, including her husband Charlie, daughter Ayla, and dogs Stella and Ranger.

BILLING & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Rachael Cutbirth joined Research Source in March of 2023. With a B.S. in Public Relations from Texas State University and former experience in business management, she has entered into the world of research to pursue and support the growth of the company. She enjoys working closely with Kelly to provide help with finances, marketing/branding, and data collection for the business.

Rachael is a born and raised Austinite who has a passion for all kinds of activities such as hot yoga, running to participate in half marathons, and wine tasting. While managing her work-life balance, she is also in the process of obtaining her MBA through Texas State University to further excel in her career. She also loves spending time as much time as she can with her husband Cameron and labradoodle Nestle.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Sarah Barela started as a clinical research coordinator with Research Source in April of 2023. This is her first research position and has been working in healthcare for 4 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 2018 from Texas Tech University. Sarah has a passion for healthcare and enjoys being in a career field where she can help create a better quality of life for others.

Sarah is originally from New Mexico but quickly fell in love with the state of Texas during college leading her to stay. She currently lives and works in Fort Worth, Texas. Sarah tries to spend as much time outside as she can doing things like boating on the lake, running along the river, and spending time with friends. She also enjoys yoga, reading, and traveling in her free time.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Cameron Goldie graduated from Alma College in April 2023. She received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry. Throughout her undergraduate experience, her studies focused heavily on the human body with plans to pursue medical school in the near future. While at Alma College, she conducted academic research and was a member of the Kiltie Dance Company.

Cameron joined Research Source as a Research Coordinator in September 2023. She coordinates clinical trials in Southfield, MI. She has a passion for research and novel ideas that can advance modern medicine, and it excites her to be part of a team that fosters this outlook. Cameron’s primary goal is to help others throughout her journey in medicine. In her personal life, she enjoys dancing and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and her two dogs Brady and Bennie.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Jensen Eggleston has been conducting research since 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2021 from Texas A&M University and her Master of Public Health degree in 2023 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She started working as a research assistant during her master’s program in 2021, where she conducted research on the recreational use of non-prescription drugs in Fort Worth, TX.

Jensen joined Research Source in 2023, where she is the research coordinator for multiple clinical trials located in Austin, TX. Jensen is devoted to increasing accessibility to healthcare services/products. One of her favorite things about research is seeing the positive impact it can make on patient’s lives. In her free time, Jensen loves to spend time with friends & family, travel, and do yoga. She spent much of her life living in the DFW metroplex, so she was excited to move to Austin and start to explore the city.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

McKenzie Spires graduated from the University of Florida in May 2023. She received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Throughout her undergraduate, she has exposed herself to and worked in many healthcare environments exploring her passion of learning about the human body. She started her first research position as a clinical research coordinator with Research Source in January of 2024. McKenzie is dedicated to the patients and the advancements in modern medicine. It excites her to see the impact that this research has on patient's lives and the prospect of helping others achieve optimal health. McKenzie is originally from Seattle, WA but fell in love with Florida during her undergraduate. She currently lives and works in Tampa, FL. She enjoys doing anything outdoors, especially spending time in the water kayaking, scuba diving, and shelling at the beach.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Binh Nguyen just joined the Research Source team in January 2024 as a research coordinator for multiple clinical studies focusing on peripheral nerve stimulation. Born and raised in the small town of Palacios, Texas, Binh moved to Austin where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Texas at Austin. With a diverse skill set spanning healthcare, research, education, and community service, Binh has demonstrated versatility and dedication throughout their academic and professional journey. From clinical experiences as a Patient Care Technician to research roles at institutions like Texas Health Institute and UT Austin Dell Medical School, Binh has actively contributed to patient care, research initiatives, and community outreach efforts.

In her free time, she enjoys working as an ESL tutor and serving as a crisis counselor for Crisis Text Line. These experiences reflect Binh's ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with diverse groups, and adapt to various environments. Binh is a driven and compassionate individual with a deep-rooted passion for healthcare equity and inclusivity. She hopes to make meaningful contributions to the field of research and advocate for marginalized communities with empathy and integrity.

CLINCAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Angela found her passion for health and well-being while serving as a fitness instructor at the YMCA in 2017. Inspired to do more for the health industry, she enrolled at West Texas A&M University and completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Science (BHSc) in 2022.

While attending, the COVID crisis began and her interest in research was born. Wanting to contribute to the advancement of medical care and a higher quality of life among patients, Angela secured a Clinical Research Internship following the completion of her degree.

Since then, Angela has worked with immunology, hepatology, and spinal specialties in the process of drug and device development, treatment comparisons, and community outreach. She finds both meaning and enjoyment in her career, cherishing the patient relationships that develop through each trial.

Outside of work, she can be found hiking off-trail, practicing her climbing on trees and boulders throughout San Antonio. Her three children (9, 12, and 14) often join her. Indoors, she loves to watch obscure movies, read books, and cook nutritiously dense meals that everyone can enjoy.
